About
I’m the IT Operations Supervisor for the Québec City region at GTO Gestion Informatique, a managed services provider supporting small and mid-sized businesses across many sectors, including healthcare.
My career began in 2009 at Geek Squad, where I soon took over the team. I went on to work as a technician, help desk coordinator, IT service centre team lead, director of technical support and customer service, Linux administrator, entrepreneur and enterprise account manager.
At oxio, I led technical support and customer service while the company reached a $100 million valuation in just three years. It taught me how to scale a service without losing the human touch.
That range gives me an uncommon perspective: I understand technology from the inside, and I know the reality of the businesses that depend on it. My job is to make IT reliable and understandable, and to turn it into clear business decisions about cost, risk and priorities.
I write for SMB leaders who want to understand their IT without the jargon, work better with their provider and decide with confidence. I’m always glad to connect with business leaders and people in the industry, so feel free to reach out.
